Agent insists Man City striker has 'no intention' of returning to Italy

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has 'no intention' of leaving the Premier League champions and returning to Italy, according to his agent. The latest round of speculation over the enigmatic Italy international suggested that Serie A champions Juventus were considering a bid for his services. But agent Mino Raiola rejected claims that his client, who is currently preparing for Thursday's Euro 2012 semi-final showdown with Germany, could be set for a return to his homeland. Raiola insists that the current state of the game in Serie A, coupled with the fact that Balotelli is not looking to move and that City do not want to sell, means that a move will not be happening.

No intention

Raiola told SportMediaset: "Maybe I have not been clear - Balotelli can't come back to Italy. "Italian football's economic situation means that at the moment top players can't come to Italy. "In football, nothing is impossible, but Mario hasn't spoken to me. "He has no intention to come back. City and the coach are relying on him."
