Wilfried Bony insists Manchester City are not getting carried away

Manchester City's hard work during pre-season is being rewarded by their blistering start to the Premier League campaign, according to Wilfried Bony.
City have kicked off the new season - during which they aim to regain the Premier League title - in fine form, beating West Brom 3-0 on the opening weekend before drawing first blood in the title race by defeating defending champions Chelsea by the same scoreline.
Despite their impressive start, Bony insists his City team-mates are not getting carried away ahead of their Super Sunday clash at Everton.
"It has been a great start for the club," said the Ivory Coast international, in an exclusive interview with Soccer Saturday. "We deserve it, we worked very hard and have started very well, so we are happy about that.
"The team are working hard, the balance is very good and there is also a great rhythm. We are happy about that and we want to continue like this.
"Now we are going to take the games step by step. We are a team that wants to play football so we always want the ball. We want to score a lot of goals, but every game is not the same.
"We just have to take each game seriously and concentrate 100 per cent and try to win, that's the most important thing."
City head to Merseyside on an eight-game winning streak in the Premier League, following two victories from their opening two games this term, coupled with six back-to-back wins at the tail-end of last season.
Asked whether City had given the streak any thought, Bony added: "We don't think about that.
"We have to be focused about what we are doing now and what we want to do on Sunday.
"We have a tough away game at Everton and we have to work hard because we know it is going to be difficult at Goodison Park.
"It's going to be difficult but we go there wanting to win. Everton at home will give 100 per cent, as will we, so we hope to bring the three points home."
