Middlesbrough have completed the signing of forward Martin Braithwaite from Toulouse.

We understand the fee to be £9m and the 26-year-old has signed a four-year deal after he underwent a medical at the club's training ground on Thursday.

The Denmark striker, who has 16 international caps and can also play as a winger, is Boro manager Garry Monk's third summer signing.

Braithwaite, who scored 11 Ligue 1 goals for Toulouse last season, will fly out to Portugal on Friday to meet up with his new team-mates at their pre-season training camp.

"Garry Monk has completed his third signing of the summer after Martin Braithwaite finalised his transfer from Toulouse," a statement released on Middlesbrough's official website said.
