Mowbray to land striker on season-long loan

Sky Sports understands Middlesbrough have agreed a loan deal for Nottingham Forest forward Ishmael Miller. Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has been scouring the transfer market to bolster his attacking options and he has moved for Miller. Mowbray is a huge admirer of Miller having worked with him during his time in charge of West Brom and has made numerous attempts to land the player since taking over at The Riverside. A number of other clubs were thought to be in the chase for Miller, but Mowbray has won the race to bring the former Manchester City man to Teesside. Forest are willing to loan out Miller as Sean O'Driscoll has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal at the City Ground.
