Goma confident of swift return
The defender was forced to miss Fulham`s trip to Manchester United at the weekend after picking up the injury in training on Friday.
The Frenchman hopes he will be back in action soon, but is somewhat frustrated having only recently returned from a hamstring problem.
Goma believes his leg troubles could be linked to a long-standing knee injury.
He told the club`s website: "I picked up a calf strain on Friday, the day before the game.
"I was just training normally and it suddenly went - I had a hamstring injury a month ago and now it's the calf, so it's a problem that I have to manage.
"I've had problems with my right knee for a while and it's possible that these other injuries are linked to that.
"I don't think it's a bad injury. I've had a scan and nothing showed up on that, so hopefully I'll be able to run on it in a few days` time and I won't be out for too long.
"I've got two weeks to recover, so I hope that I will be fit in time for the Blackburn game."
