Cottagers host Wolves in clash of unbeaten sides

Fulham host Wolves looking for their first top-flight win of the season in a clash of unbeaten sides at Craven Cottage. Mark Hughes' men have drawn their opening three matches of the Premier League campaign, following up an opening day stalemate at Bolton with successive 2-2 draws with Manchester United and Blackpool. The Cottagers showed their resilience against both the Red Devils and Seasiders by coming from behind to snatch late points and should again prove hard to beat. But it will not be easy against Mick McCarthy's Wolves who are themselves unbeaten this campaign. The Molineux outfit posted an opening day 2-1 victory over Stoke before registering successive 1-1 draws with Everton and Newcastle. This corresponding fixture last season ended goalless and given both sides' unbeaten starts this term it could quite easily be a draw again.

Team news

Hughes gave summer signing Moussa Dembele his first Premier League start against the Seasiders and the Belgian could keep his place in the team. Fellow striker Bobby Zamora is available for the clash after recovering from a thigh injury. Paul Konchesky joined old boss Roy Hodgson at Liverpool on transfer deadline day so Stephen Kelly could retain his place in the side. But new signing Carlos Salcido will not be considered due to visa delays and Damien Duff is a doubt because of a calf problem. Keeper Mark Schwarzer will start after overcoming his back problem but back-up stopper David Stockdale will be out for up to a month with an ankle injury. Philippe Senderos (Achilles), Andrew Johnson (knee) and Diomansy Kamara (foot) are long-term injury absentees. Wolves will include Marcus Bent in their squad for the first time for the trip to Craven Cottage after the striker was signed on loan from Birmingham before the transfer window closed. Fellow striker Steven Fletcher returned to full training on Thursday and is also in contention, as is Jelle Van Damme, who has also returned to full training after recovering from the ankle injury suffered in a challenge by Newcastle's Joey Barton a fortnight ago. But fellow defender Ronald Zubar is ruled out of the clash with a hamstring injury.
