Man United and others checking on Spanish-based targets
A host of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, were present for Espanyol's clash with Athletic Bilbao on Monday.
At least four Premier League clubs were in Barcelona to see Espanyol claim a 2-1 win over Bilbao.
United were well represented at the match with Sir Alex Ferguson's brother Martin at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat.
But Ferguson was not alone, with Tottenham's Harry Redknapp, Mark Hughes of Fulham and Everton's David Moyes all in attendance.
Spanish media are split on who they feel each side were watching but it is believed Carlos Kameni, Pablo Osvaldo, Jose Callejon, Javi Martinez and Iker Muniain were of particular interest.
