Wigan boss Graham Barrow slams his team's 'kamikaze football' in Ipswich defeat

Wigan interim boss Graham Barrow slammed his relegation-threatened side's "suicidal kamikaze football" after Ipswich condemned them to a 3-0 defeat.
Three individual errors led to Ipswich chances which were ruthlessly finished off, once by David McGoldrick and twice from Freddie Sears, to all but guarantee Ipswich's own place in the Sky Bet Championship.
The situation is far worse for Wigan, who are 23rd in the table and seven points adrift of safety.
And Barrow admits he felt let down by his players.
He said: "The 3-0 scoreline was fair as we gave them all three goals - but for Matt Gilks in goal, it could have been much worse.
"I am not even going to pretend that was okay. It was suicidal stuff, real kamikaze football and I do personally feel let down.
"Things were said in the dressing room, but they will stay in the dressing room, but the club, supporters and staff don't deserve that kind of performance.
"Our defending has actually been quite sound this season but all of a sudden that went up in smoke.
"Maybe there was some kind of hangover, after we played well against Newcastle and Aston Villa but didn't get anything out of either game. We will find out on Saturday."
The only positive from a poor night for Wigan came from results elsewhere, with none of the bottom five claiming even a single point.
