Wigan Athletic charged by FA over pitch invasion after Manchester City win

Wigan Athletic have been charged over a pitch invasion after their FA Cup win over Manchester City last month.
Supporters from the League One club entered the field of play following their shock 1-0 fifth-round win over the Premier League leaders at the DW Stadium.
City striker Sergio Aguero appeared to clash with one of the supporters as Wigan celebrated their victory, one which ended any hopes City had of an unprecedented quadruple.
After the game, Wigan chairman David Sharpe said: "It is not nice to see, football is emotional, it is what it does to fans. But I don't like to see this at the end of the game."
An FA statement read: "Wigan Athletic have been charged for failing to ensure that no spectators or unauthorised persons encroached onto the pitch at the Emirates FA Cup match against Manchester City on Monday 19 February.
"The club has until 6pm on Monday April 9 to respond to the charge."
Both teams were previously charged with failing to control their players after Fabian Delph was shown a red card just before half-time for a challenge on Wigan's Max Power.
