Highlights from Wigan against Wycombe in Sky Bet League One.

Wycombe continued their resurgence under new manager Michael Duff by beating Wigan 1-0 at the Brick Community Stadium to move clear of the League One relegation zone.

The Chairboys had won 2-0 on this ground in the third round of the Carabao Cup only 18 days ago in Duff's second game in charge.

This time the difference was only Sam Bell's goal 10 minutes before the break - after a lightning-fast counter attack, involving Ewan Henderson and Fred Onyedinma.

It was enough to secure a fourth win in six games in all competitions since Duff arrived.

The hosts failed to land a single punch on their opponents until stoppage time, with Paul Mullin nodding wide in the opening exchanges and substitute Dara Costelloe sending a header past the post with four minutes to go.

In between, the Latics enjoyed the lion's share of possession, but were unable to mount anything in the way of a threat on the Wycombe goal.

Wigan's best chance came in the sixth of six added minutes, when Costelloe found himself clean through, only for Will Norris to make a fantastic block to preserve his clean sheet.
