Highlights from Stevenage against Wigan in Sky Bet League One.

Stevenage left it late to get the win they needed against Wigan to secure a place in the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

As the 90 minutes ticked over, Boro were seventh and behind Plymouth in the table.

In the first minute of stoppage time a corner was not cleared and when the ball dropped at the far post a scramble left it pinging one way then another.

Nobody knew who got the final touch, Dan Sweeney was the guess, but the linesman said the ball had gone over the line and Broadhall Way erupted. However, replays suggested the ball hadn't crossed the line.

There was still seven minutes of time added on to come and Phoenix Patterson and Jamie Reid both had efforts saved by Wigan's Sam Tickle in that period.

Wigan had a corner at the death and keeper Tickle went up for it, but a foul ended that pressure and confirmed Stevenage's participation in the play-offs.

Prior to that ending it had been a nervy afternoon, with Wigan hitting the crossbar after 81 minutes through Harrison Bettoni, while Tickle had clawed a Charlie Goode header off the line.
