The 21-year-old midfielder continues to look to the Championship for regular game time as he remains some way down the pecking order at parent club Chelsea.
Chelsea consider him to be a promising enough talent to have tied him to a contract which is due to run until 2016, but are aware of the need to get minutes under his belt.
McEachran was allowed to join Watford early in the current campaign, but he struggled for form and fitness at Vicarage Road.
A second loan switch was sanctioned in January, and a stint at the DW Stadium has brought five promising performances.
McEachran told Get West London after seeing Wigan slip to a 1-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday: "I'm really enjoying it.
"Uwe (Rosler) brought me from Chelsea when I wasn't fit, so for the first couple of weeks I was building up my fitness. I like playing under him because he likes to play the right way.
"If I went to a team that played long ball it wouldn't suit me at all, but Uwe definitely plays the right way and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season."
Defeat at Loftus Road has halted Wigan's rapid climb up the Championship standings, but they remain inside the play-off places and well positioned to press ahead with their bid to secure a return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
England U21 international McEachran added: "It was a great performance from us. They got an early goal and held on to it.
"We had good spells and certainly can take a lot of positives from the game."
