Wigan's summer makeover has continued with the acquisition of midfielder Sean Murray on a one-month loan from Watford.

The Latics are virtually unrecognisable from the club that was relegated out of the Sky Bet Championship as boss Gary Caldwell looks to put his own stamp on the team at the DW Stadium.

Murray, a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, is the club's 14th signing of the summer and has been brought in to compensate for injuries to fellow midfielders Tim Chow and Don Cowie.

"Sean's here for a month initially, then we'll reassess the situation, as with all the loan signings," Caldwell told the club's official website.
