Defender Terry Kennedy released by Sheffield United

Defender Terry Kennedy has left Sheffield United having not been offered a new contract by the club.
Academy product Kennedy, at Bramall Lane for 15 years, feels he did not get a fair chance to prove himself at first-team level.
The 22-year-old made 13 appearances under former manager Nigel Clough last season but this campaign, with Nigel Adkins in charge, he featured just three times - with two of those games coming in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy - and he was sent out on loan to Cambridge in November.
Kennedy wrote on Twitter: "Strange to be leaving the club I've been at since I was 7 years old. Not been offered a new deal and hopefully start fresh elsewhere next season.
"Been a frustrating season personally as I feel I didn't get a fair chance but that's football.
"Just want to thank the fans for supporting me through good moments and helping me through some dark times. Met some great people over the years and wish the club the best in the future UTB (Up The Blades)."
