Sheffield United start their 2018/19 campaign at home to Swansea in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Saturday, August 4.
The Blades host the Welsh side - relegated from the Premier League last season but under the new management of Graham Potter - in a 5.30pm kick-off.
Chris Wilder's team face trips to QPR, Middlesbrough and Bolton - as well as a home clash with Norwich - during a busy opening month but have to wait until November to tackle their fierce city rivals.
Sheffield Wednesday make the short trip to Bramall Lane on November 10, with the second Steel City showdown scheduled at Hillsborough on March 2.
United welcome Derby County on Boxing Day, head to Wigan on New Year's Day and finish the season at Gary Rowett's Stoke on May 5.
