Charlton are sweating on an injury suffered by influential midfielder Yoni Buyens in the draw against Millwall.

The 26-year-old Belgian playmaker had to go off during the first half of Saturday's goalless draw against Millwall.

Manager Bob Peeters said: "Yoni kicked a long ball and felt something in his hamstring. He signalled to me to tell me he couldn't carry on so we brought on Callum Harriot."

Charlton were already without first-choice goalkeeper Stephen Henderson, with youngster Nick Pope deputising at The Valley.

"I was happy with Nick Pope," added Peeters.

"Stephen Henderson's shoulder was not right so he told me on Friday that he couldn't play after training."
