Roger Johnson suffers cracked rib on Charlton debut

Charlton defender Roger Johnson revealed he played through the majority of his debut with a cracked rib.
The experienced centre-half, who recently joined as a free agent after leaving Wolves, suffered the injury during the first half of Saturday's 3-0 win over Brentford.
But having already seen Rhoys Wiggins and Johnnie Jackson limp off injured, Johnson opted to play on with the help of two painkilling injections at half-time.
"I cracked a rib, I've done it before so I know the pain and I was struggling a bit," he told the club website.
"But we had the two lads go off so I couldn't make it three in the first half.
"I don't like to go off unless it's a broken limb so I wanted to carry on. I had one injection in the ribs at half-time and one in the backside and just cracked on."
