Manuel Lanzini will miss the start of the Premier League season after he was named in Argentina's Olympic Games squad.
The West Ham midfielder has been confirmed in an 18-man squad for the tournament, which runs from August 4-20 in Rio de Janeiro.
And that schedule rules him out of an opening trip to Chelsea and West Ham's first game at their new Olympic Stadium home the following weekend.
Both those fixtures are live on Sky Sports, the Chelsea game on Monday August 15 and the home game against Bournemouth on Sunday August 21.
Lanzini enjoyed a successful first season in the Premier League after joining the Hammers on an initial loan deal from United Arab Emirates club Al Jazira.
The 23-year-old scored six goals in 23 league starts and joined the club permanently in March on a four-year contract.
Argentina won gold at the Olympics in 2004 and 2008, but Mexico will go to Rio as defending champions following their success in London four years ago.
