Greek striker's representative in talks with a number of teams

Sky Sports understands Greece star Dimitris Salpingidis is a target for several Premier League clubs. Stoke, Wigan, Norwich and newly-promoted sides West Ham and Reading are all thought to be eyeing the striker. Salpingidis, 30, became a hero for his country after stepping off the bench to bag the equaliser against co-hosts Poland in the opening game of Euro 2012 to salvage a 1-1 draw. Salpingidis, who plies is trade for PAOK, also scored for the Greek outfit in last season's Europa League group stage victory against Tottenham at White Hart Lane. Despite having a year to run on his contract he is thought to be able to leave on a free this summer after a dispute over wages. The player's UK representative, Chris Nathaniel admitted: "We are talking with a number of Premier League teams."
