West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has revealed Diafra Sakho will be available for West Ham's trip to Liverpool this weekend, as long as he recovers from a slight groin injury.
The striker was arrested last weekend on suspicion of 'making threats to kill and witness intimidation'. He has since been questioned by police and bailed without charge.
Senegal international Sakho, who has denied any allegations against him, will continue to be selected by Bilic despite the incident and the only thing which may prevent him from turning out at Anfield is his fitness.
The 25-year-old should train on Friday ahead of the match, in which the Upton Park side will look to bounce back from Premier League defeats to Leicester and Bournemouth.
Bilic said: "We are hoping Diafra will be available for Saturday. He's felt a little stiffness in his groin but it is not major. We expect him to train on Friday.
"For Saturday, up front we have a few injuries and we have very limited options. It looks like Sakho is going to be okay for Liverpool."
Enner Valencia has apologised for criticising the club's medical staff and Bilic is adamant the matter is now closed.
He hopes to have the Ecuador forward back in his squad along with Andy Carroll, who is making progress in his recovery from a knee injury which has sidelined him since February.
Bilic hopes to have him back for the home fixture with Newcastle on September 14 and added: "Today Andy is going to train with us and he's improving.
"He's injury-free, it's only a matter of fitness now to get him back. If everything goes well he should participate in the game against Newcastle.
"Enner has apologised for his comments and he's back in a normal routine. The medical department is trying very hard to get him back as soon as possible. He's apologised and for me that's sorted."
