Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores admits he's worried about their lack of goals in recent games

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores has brushed off concerns about his future at the club and is already planning for next season.

While Watford have an FA Cup semi-final to look forward to, their 1-1 draw with Everton at the weekend ended a run of four straight league defeats which has seen them slip to 15th in the Premier League.

Flores concedes his side is still not quite safe from relegation, but speaking ahead of Saturday's trip to West Brom, the Spaniard said he is paying no attention to reports suggesting his position is under pressure at Vicarage Road.

"We are relaxed inside the club about my future. I am not worried about it," he said.

"I am really happy here and with this group, and in terms of how the club manages me. I have strong, close contact with the owner and the sport directors. I feel good and, when I do, everything is okay.

"We are planning about next pre-season - everything. It is necessary.

"We are open to the return of some good players, who have been on loan. We're open to everything. We check during the season and then we will take a decision about that."

A good run from their final six fixtures could still see Watford post a top-half finish and Flores is determined that his side retain their focus to the season's end.

"We want to be really competitive in the last matches," he added. "We are not completely safe. I am happy in terms of the performance of the team in terms of the season but we don't want to relax.

"Of course we are able to have more than two points. This is our objective and challenge. But it's difficult. Every team is tough at the end of the season because the objective is close. We want to play well and get good results."

Watford have struggled to score since Christmas and they now average less than a goal a game in the league, but Flores is refusing to panic, saying he would be more worried if chances were not being created.

"It's clear that we have had problems to score in second half of the season. I try to support the strikers because Troy and Ighalo were amazing in the first half of the league.

"I would be worried if we don't create attempts but we have created more than Everton in the last game. We don't score, it's a problem, but creating attempts is more difficult."
