Walter Mazzarri's job safe at Watford - Sky sources

Walter Mazzarri is under “no threat whatsoever” of losing his job as head coach of Watford, Sky Sports News HQ understands.
Watford are without a win in six games, and a run of four points from a possible 24 has seen them slip to 14th place in the Premier League.
But Mazzarri, who was recruited in the summer to replace Quique Sanchez Flores, remains the right man for the job in the eyes of the Pozzo family who own the club.
"The owners are concerned with their league position, but they have 100 per cent faith that Walter is the man to get them out of trouble,” a senior source told SSN HQ.
"He’s signed Tom Cleverley on loan and he’s likely to land more signings over the next few days.
"His attention to detail, the hours which he dedicates to the job, the respect he has from the players and the contacts he has within the game mean he’s absolutely the man to lead Watford to safety.
"His English is improving every week. There are many fine managers in the Premier League. The owners feel he’s as talented as any of them."
Watford go to Bournemouth on Saturday aiming to avoid a sixth straight away defeat.
