Will Aimson completes permanent move to Blackpool from Hull

Will Aimson has completed a permanent move to Blackpool from Hull following a loan spell on the Fylde coast.

The defender was due to return to the Tigers following the expiration of his loan after Saturday's home defeat to Port Vale but has elected to remain with the Seasiders after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Aimson first moved to Bloomfield Road back in November having previously made just two Football League starts in his career.

"He's a good, young defender with lots of potential and we'll try and get that potential out of him as much as we possibly can," Blackpool manager Neil McDonald said on their official website.
