Cardiff have announced the signing of Wales international Emyr Huws from fellow Sky Bet Championship side Wigan for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

The 22-year-old has been handed a three-year contract, keeping him in his homeland until the summer of 2019, and becomes Cardiff's fifth summer signing.

Huws, who made 16 appearances for Wigan, told the club's official website: "I'm chuffed to be back in south Wales and really happy to join a big club like Cardiff.
