Thursday 14 December 2017 20:13, UK
Each week, we will be taking a look back at some essential stats from the weekend's action in the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two...
Robins on song on the road
Bristol City won 2-1 at Sheffield United on Friday night to extend their unbeaten run away from home to 10 Championship games (W6, D4), winning five of their last six away games (D1) and claiming 16 points from the last 18 available on the road.
Ten away games without defeat is their longest unbeaten run at this level for over 111 years when they went 18 games unbeaten in 1905/06 en route to winning promotion to the top division.
Away from home this season Bristol City have won the joint-most points (22, with Wolves), scored the most goals (19) and suffered the fewest defeats (one).
Adkins off to a fast start
Nigel Adkins was in charge of Hull for the first time as they beat Brentford 3-2 on Saturday, the first time he had won his opening game in charge of a new club and Hull's first home win since September.
Kemar lifts the Roofe
Leeds' Kemar Roofe scored a hat-trick in their 3-1 win at QPR on Saturday, becoming the first Leeds player to score a league hat-trick away from home for over four years since Ross McCormack at Charlton in November 2013.
Six of Roofe's nine goals in all competitions this season have come in hat-tricks (also v Newport in the Carabao Cup in August).
Away day Blues
Birmingham have now lost more away league games this season than any other EFL club after suffering their ninth defeat at Fulham on Saturday. They have won two points from 11 away games, scoring only four goals.
League One
Plymouth fielded their seventh different goalkeeper this season when Kelle Roos started their 2-1 win over Gillingham after signing on an emergency loan from Derby on Friday. They have won four of their last seven League One games having won one of their opening 14.
League Two
Chesterfield beat Barnet 2-1 in a game played between two clubs who started the day in the League Two relegation zone. The win was their third in their last four games (D1) and took them out of the relegation zone for the first time in three months. They are now unbeaten in six League Two games (W3, D3) after losing 11 of their opening 15 games (W2, D2).
