Hungarian midfield playmaker Akos Buzsaky is negotiating a new deal with Championship side Plymouth.
Reports say Argyle have offered the star deal until summer 2010
Hungarian midfield star Akos Buzsaky is negotiating a new deal with Plymouth.
Buzsaky joined the Championship team from FC Porto for an undisclosed fee in May 2005 and his current contract is due to run out next summer.
Plymouth manager Ian Holloway has confirmed Buzsaky, who is currently away on international duty with Hungary in Poland, is in contract talks and Argyle are reported to have offered the star a deal until summer 2010.
Meanwhile, Buzsaky's Hungarian compatriot at Plymouth, Peter Halmosi, is hoping his club performances will earn him a starting place in his national team.
The winger has made several substitute appearances for Hungary recently and believes he has done enough with Plymouth to earn a starting berth.
Regular
He said: "I hope that these displays are going to help me to get a regular place in the national team.
"I think I stand my ground in England, I'm a regular first-team member, I play 90 minutes game by game and - in my opinion - this should be enough to be in Hungary's line-up.
"So far it wasn't (enough) but I do my business and work as hard as I can. I've never got 'free presents' from life like in this case but I'm lucky that I always managed to reach the goals that I targeted."
