Heffernan attracts interest

Skysports.com understands Doncaster could be ready to let Paul Heffernan leave the Keepmoat Stadium.

Rovers hit-man may be on the move

Skysports.com understands Doncaster Rovers could be ready to let Paul Heffernan leave the Keepmoat Stadium, if they receive a satisfactory bid for the striker. Rovers are busy tinkering with their squad ahead of life in the Championship, with boss Sean O'Driscoll eager to continue their meteoric rise up the football pyramid next season. With finances tight it is understood O'Driscoll may have to shuffle his playing pack in order to pursue transfer targets of his own. Heffernan played his part in Doncaster's promotion last term in bagging nine goals, but it may be that he will be moved on in the summer. An enviable goal record at League One level will not have gone unnoticed elsewhere, with Heffernan having impressed at Notts County, Bristol City and most recently Doncaster.
