Welshman returns to parent club after loan
Wolves striker Sam Vokes has returned to the club following the end of his loan at Bristol City.
The 21-year-old Wales international had a miserable stay at Ashton Gate which was plagued by injury.
Vokes suffered a hamstring tear on the opening day of the season against Millwall and has recently had another setback on his return while playing for the reserves.
He has only made one substitute appearance for the Robins during his five-month stint, but boss Keith Millen says the club will still monitor his progress.
He said: "Hopefully Sam will overcome his hamstring problem soon. I'll keep an eye on his progress back at Wolves.
"He's had such rough luck during his time here and I wish him well with his recovery."
Young forward Vokes was regarded as a real hot prospect but following unsuccessful spells at Leeds and now Bristol City, his future remains uncertain.
