Watford happy to let striker move on

Sky Sports understands Watford are willing to let Chris Iwelumo leave Vicarage Road. The Hornets are prepared to let the Scotland international leave the club on a free transfer. Iwelumo, who only joined Watford last summer from Burnley, has been informed by new Hornets boss Gianfranco Zola he does not figure in his long-term plans. The 33-year-old scored four goals in his debut season for Watford after struggling to hold down a regular place in the side. A number of clubs have been alerted to Iwelumo's availability and are weighing up a move for the big forward.
