The Doncaster-born ace has joined the Derbyshire outfit for an initial one-month period.
Manager Nicky Law completed the signing just in time for Hyde to make his debut from the bench in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Oldham Athletic.
The 30-year-old is looking to kick-start his career at Chesterfield, after being relegated to the fringes at St Andrews.
