Vaesen takes Palace loan
Birmingham City goalkeeper Nico Vaesen has joined Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.
The Belgian custodian is making his third loan move this term after similar spells in the First Division with Gillingham and Bradford City.
His contract at St Andrews expires at the season's end and his future with Blues remains uncertain after being frozen out of the Birmingham starting slot by on-loan keeper Maik Taylor.
The Eagles' new addition will compete with Cedric Berthelin for Palace's number one jersey.
He is likely to be in Iain Dowie's squad for Saturday's crucial clash with leaders Norwich City at Selhurst Park.
