Fabio Borini expects Sunderland to enjoy their football more under David Moyes

Fabio Borini expects Sunderland players to enjoy their football more this season now that David Moyes has taken over from Sam Allardyce.

The former Everton and Manchester United manager has been in charge at the Stadium of Light for just over two weeks but Borini can already see big changes from his predecessor.

Allardyce was appointed as Sunderland boss in October last year and guided them to Premier League safety before leaving to take over England following Roy Hodgson's resignation in the summer.

Borini says Moyes has implemented a different mentality into the Sunderland side and he thinks that will pay off this season.

"He is more precise in what he wants, he is more tactical, more prepared in how the opponents will play and we adapt on how they play so he is really precise on the work," Borini said.  

"He wants to get us in the right frame of mind of this kind of football which is different from what Allardyce was playing.

"It's not going to be easy but, at the same time, it is going to be more enjoyable for us, I think, as a player to play football and tactically adapt to the situation because you are going to be ready for any kind of game.

"You use your brain in training, he makes you think a lot in what to do at the right time and that's modern football, how it is being played at the moment.

"He is being positive, he got good results against hard teams so I don't see anything going wrong at this time."
