Burnley have suffered a blow after Nathan Dyer was recalled by Championship rivals Southampton.The 18-year-old has impressed hugely during his loan stint at Turf Moor and he was due to remain until the end of December.
However, Saints' caretaker boss Dave Bassett has invoked a 24-hour recall clause in his contract in order to have Dyer available for Southampton's Boxing Day clash with Watford.
Meanwhile, Burnley have successfully extended the contract of Lee Grant - who is on loan from Derby County.
