James McClean signs new West Brom contract until 2019

James McClean has signed a new contract at West Brom which will run until 2019.

The Republic of Ireland international follows James Morrison, Craig Gardner and Ben Foster in agreeing extended deals with the Baggies.

McClean has scored twice in 17 appearances for West Brom this season as they have climbed to ninth in the Premier League table.

"James thoroughly deserves this and has worked hard to achieve it," said Baggies boss Tony Pulis. 

"James's attitude and commitment to the group is first class and I'm delighted to see that approach rewarded in this way."

England goalkeeper Foster signed a four-and-a-half year deal at the Hawthorns on Christmas Eve while Gardner agreed a two-year extension earlier this month. 

Morrison also agreed to extend his stay at the Hawthorns by two years in the summer.
