Striker wants to keep options open during transfer window

Luke Moore has opted against extending his loan spell at Derby County and has returned to West Bromwich Albion. The striker had scored four goals in 14 appearances during the past three months at Pride Park and Derby wanted to extend the deal until the end of the season. The Rams had agreed terms with West Brom, but Moore has decided to keep his options open during the January transfer window. Meanwhile, Derby boss Nigel Clough admits loan signings remain the most likely source of new arrivals at the club during the next month. "There's a possibility of a permanent signing or two," Clough told the club's official website. "It always depends on the selling club, but I would say loans are the most likely option for us."
