Albion striker looking to end season on a high

Peter Odemwingie has praised West Brom's togetherness following their impressive 3-0 home win against relegation candidates Blackburn on Saturday. The former Lokomotiv Moscow forward was pleased with the team spirit shown by the Baggies as they moved up to 13th position in the Premier League and are now just one point short of the 40-point mark. Odemwingie has hit 10 goals for the club this season and the 30-year-old is now determined to end the season as high as possible with just six games remaining. "Before we arrived at the ground (on Saturday) we all had a positive talk," he told the club's official website. "We said that we are one team. "We said that we need to encourage each other and you could see the team was very healthy. "That had a direct impact on the game and on the result."

Job

Odemwingie also insisted that he and goalkeeper Ben Foster have put their differences behind them following last week's heated exchange in the 2-0 defeat against Everton at Goodison Park. "We put all of that to one side," he added. "As a result of not being satisfied with the team's performance, sometimes you can lose you head. "If we continued a bad run, had a few arguments and lost (against Blackburn), then it would have kept getting worse. "The head coach (Roy Hodgson) called for a meeting at the beginning of the week and we all said we need to get the job done. "It's good to see that we all realised we're a team and we really showed that "We're pleased with the result and I'm sure the supporters are happy. "Hopefully we can build on that and finish in the top ten."
