Wolves have received a loan bid from Huddersfield for winger Rajiv van La Parra.
The 24-year-old is currently out of boss Kenny Jackett's plans and the Molineux club are set to make a decision on his short-term future.
Van La Parra has not played for Wolves since a 3-0 defeat at Brentford last month and they are considering the approach from their Sky Bet Championship rivals.
Boss Kenny Jackett said: "We've had an approach, nothing has been set up or decided yet. We will see, we'll be deciding in good time this week. He's not a player I've used for the last couple of games.
"We'll see going forward some time out of the firing line helps him to come back and come back stronger because he is a capable player."
The Dutchman has played 16 games for Wolves this term and had a six-match loan spell at Brighton earlier in the season after joining from Heerenveen in 2014 but Jackett insisted van La Parra still has a long-future at Molineux.
He added: "It's not the end."
Huddersfield are 18th in the Championship and host Reading on Tuesday while mid-table Wolves welcome Bristol City.
