Southampton in market for striker says Ronald Koeman

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed he may be in the market for a striker in the January transfer window.
Saints have dropped down to 12th in the Premier League table, with goals hard to come by in recent week.
The Dutchman said he may need to spend some money to bolster his strike options, but insists none of his players will be leaving next month.
"We are always looking to see what we can do to make the squad stronger but it is not about doing many changes in the team," he added. "If we need somebody it will be an offensive player. We also know that nobody is for sale."
Koeman said the team is lacking confidence after a run of four games without a win. They drew 1-1 with bottom club Aston Villa last weekend, and were beaten 6-1 by Liverpool in the Capital One Cup quarter-finals at St Mary's. Before that they went down 3-1 at Manchester City and lost 1-0 at home to Stoke.
They take on Crystal Palace on Saturday and could climb as high as sixth with a victory.
"The best medicine for confidence is to win the game. We know we have to do better than we did against Aston Villa," Koeman said.
"We need more sharpness in the box, we need to be more clinical. We've had a good week of training and we gave attention to detail to all the things we need to improve on.
"We have to show more consistency in our performances. We don't score a lot of goals but we create a lot of chances. We have to finish more chances and then we can show we have a strong team."
