Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
The Southampton skipper has had the most touches (2,069), passes (1,568) and possession won (286) for Southampton in Premier League this season. His partnership with James Ward-Prowse in central midfield was a key component of Saints' great run in December and January.
Ryan Bertrand
The dynamic full-back has started the last 17 Premier League games which has coincided with the club's impressive form - during that period, Saints took 26 points with Bertrand's quality and defensive acumen coming to the fore.
James Ward-Prowse
The only Southampton player to play in all 35 games this season, is the ever reliable midfielder who has added a new tenacity to his game this season to go alongside his undoubted quality from set-pieces. Ward-Prowse has created the most chances (45) for Southampton in the Premier League this season.
Nathan Redmond
A return of just four goals is perhaps a little disappointing but Redmond has once again been a shining light for Saints especially in the past few months.
Stuart Armstrong
The importance of the combative midfielder can simply be shown through Southampton's win percentage with and without him in the team. It stands at 50 per cent in the 12 games he's started and drops to 23 per cent in the 17 games he's been missing.
Danny Ings
Southampton's top scorer this season with 18 goals - 15 of those in the Premier League - has burst back onto the scene in a big way after his injury troubles.
