Jon Walters, Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan nominated for Irish Player of the Year

Premier League trio Jonathan Walters, Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan have been shortlisted for the Republic of Ireland Player of the Year award.

The winner of the accolade will be announced at the Irish Football Association's International Awards on Sunday. 

Walters (Stoke City), Brady (Norwich City) and Hoolahan (Norwich City) have never previously won the award in their careers.

The FAI will also select their International Goal of the Year, a category in which Brady (v Bosnia & Herzegovina) and Walters (v Georgia) are also nominated.
