Watch Peter Crouch's 3rd goal for Stoke as he bagged a hat-trick against Stevenage in the EFL Cup

Peter Crouch hit a beauty of a bicycle kick to round off his hat-trick as Stoke beat Stevenage 4-0 in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.

The former England striker had a night to remember at the Lamex Stadium as they cruised into the third round of the competition, with Phil Bardsley also adding to the scoreline with his own great strike.

And he wasn't afraid to go for the spectacular to complete his first treble in three years, hitting a terrific over-head kick to make it 4-0, and giving his manager some food for thought.

"He (Crouch) always gives me something to think about," Potters boss Mark Hughes said after the win.

"I thought he was excellent, he led the line well and I knew he would try and make something of the quality into him.

"I thought he was excellent on the night along with many others. Our attitude towards what we had to do was spot on and that's how it has to be."
