Sheffield Wednesday earned all three points on their League One return with a 2-1 win at Leyton Orient.
Goals from Callum Slattery and a Jamal Lowe spot-kick were enough, while Joseph Olowu netted for the hosts.
The visitors took a 19th-minute lead when Slattery charged down Nathan Baxter as the keeper went to clear, deflecting the ball into the net.

Orient equalised six minutes later, when Fin Stevens delivered into the area, with Jaze Kabia flicking on for Olowu to poke home.
Idris El Mizouni hit the post with a volley, while Lowe shot straight at Baxter just after the hour mark.
He made amends on 66 minutes from the spot after James Morris fouled him.
Barry Bannan should have added a third on 70 minutes when he was clear with an empty net - but he somehow put his effort into the side netting.
Armando Dobra put his close-range effort wide with seven minutes remaining, while Louis Barry forced Baxter to turn his shot wide in added time as Wednesday held on.
