Robins denies Owls bid
Robins has become unhappy with life at Millmoor after struggling to find a way into the first team this season.
The former Manchester United and Norwich City marksman has made just nine appearances for Ronnie Moore's side and has been told he can leave the club.
Owls boss Chris Turner had wanted to bring the 33-year-old across South Yorkshire to nearby Wednesday on loan, but that bid was turned down by Rotherham.
The Millers wanted a permanent deal for Robins and Turner was sent packing, although that did not end his interest.
He was said to be lining up the cash to bring his former Old Trafford team-mate to Hillsborough, but Robins insists that he has had no official offer, and is still hoping to get back into the Rotherham side.
"I am looking at it from my point of view and the manager is looking at it from his. If I am not in his plans then there is not a lot I can do," said Robins.
"It is frustrating but if I was playing then I would not be looking for a move. I just need to be playing and playing regularly.
"I have heard Sheffield Wednesday have shown an interest but at the moment it is just paper talk.
"There has not been anything official."
