English eyes no Istres ace

Sky Sports understand that Wolves, Wigan, West Ham and Stoke are all tracking French defender Claude Dielna.

French stopper in-demand

Sky Sports understand that Wolves, Wigan, West Ham and Stoke are all tracking French defender Claude Dielna. The 24-year-old is currently with Ligue 2 outfit Istres, who are pushing for promotion to the top-flight. But Dielna looks like he could be on his way out of the club this summer, with a string of English clubs monitoring his progress. Dielna is a defender like his cousins, Wolves' Ronald Zubar and Bournemouth's Stephane Zubar, and he is also of Guadaloupe extraction. A number of Ligue 1 clubs, including champions Lille were also linked, but it now appears he could be following the rest of his family across the Channel. Dielna's current contract is due to expire in the summer, meaning he will free to move at the end of the season.
