Saturday 14 February 2026 17:23, UK
Plymouth claimed a thumping 4-0 victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in League One.
Alex Mitchell, Aribim Pepple and Malachi Boateng all scored in the first half, before Caleb Watts found the back of the net after the break as Tom Cleverley's side ended a three-match winless run.
On top of suffering their sixth league defeat of 2026, the Seasiders faced further misery in the final moments of the game, with James Husband being shown a straight red card.

After an uneventful 30 minutes, Mitchell bagged the opener. A ball into the box was misjudged by Blackpool's defence, allowing the defender to head home from close-range.
The on-loan Charlton man was also involved in the second at the start of stoppage time, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell saving his initial attempt before Pepple finished on the rebound.
And there was still time for Boateng to add his name to the scoresheet before the interval as he tucked home from close range after a Herbie Kane shot was stopped.
Watts made it 4-0 on the hour mark, finishing from a Joe Edwards cutback, before Husband saw red after kicking out at Xavier Amaechi after being fouled by the Argyle substitute.
