Crystal Palace co-owner Steve Parish has dismissed reports that a consortium led by former Arsenal defender Tony Adams has agreed to buy the club.
A report in a national newspaper had claimed Adams was part of a £200m deal to buy the south London club.
But Parish has responded to the report on social media, saying: "This story is not true, there are no deals in place or discussions to sell the club.
"I shook his hand and (said) hello once at an Arsenal game for 10 seconds, other than that I've never met him."
Adams' most recent involvement in football came as manager of La Liga side Granada, on a contract which expired at the end of the 2016-17 season.
