Swedish side Ostersunds FK are close to signing Crystal Palace youngster Francis Jno-Baptiste, Sky Sports News understands.
The 19-year-old has agreed to join English coach Ian Burchnall at the Allsvenskan side, who have embarked on a philosophy of signing young English talent.
That has been the case since David Webb - previously a youth coach and scout at Palace and then Bournemouth's head of recruitment - became Ostersund's technical director in October.
He is understood to have tried to sign Baptiste while he was head of elite potential identification at Tottenham between 2015 and 2017.
Palace would be due training compensation for Baptiste, who is on youth terms and scored 15 goals in 23 appearances for Palace's U18s last season.
Earlier this week, Ostersunds FK boss Burchnall confirmed to Swedish media: "He is one of many names we are currently working on."
