Crystal Palace are close to signing goalkeeper Lucas Perri on loan from Sao Paulo until the end of the season, according to Sky sources.
It is understood that Perri will join on an initial six-month loan deal, and Palace have an option to buy the 21-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper at an agreed price of around £3m.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson is in the market for a 'keeper following injuries to Vicente Guaita and Wayne Hennessey, who are both ruled out for around four weeks each.
First-choice stopper Guaita suffered a calf injury during Palace's 2-1 defeat to Watford, and Wales 'keeper Hennessey was also injured when he replaced him during the second-half against the Hornets.
Julian Speroni, 39, is the club's only recognised first-team 'keeper and is set to play against Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
Perri, who has an Italian passport and was linked with Serie A side Fiorentina, is third-choice 'keeper at Sao Paulo and is still to make a senior appearance for the Brazilian side.
