Celta Vigo have opened talks with Crystal Palace over the signing of midfielder Jairo Riedewald, according to Sky sources.
Riedewald joined Palace on a five-year deal from Ajax 18 months ago but has not started a Premier League match since February.
Sky sources understand Celta Vigo are in discussions to sign Riedewald on loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy - if the club avoids relegation from La Liga.
The Galicians are two points outside the relegation places with 19 games remaining.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson has already allowed Jonny Williams, Jordon Mutch and Jason Puncheon to leave the club in January, while Alexander Sorloth has been loaned to Belgian club Gent.
