Defender joins Eagles on two-year contract
Crystal Palace have announced the signing of former Derby defender Claude Davis on a two-year deal.
The 30-year-old was a free agent after leaving the Rams at the end of last season, but he impressed in a loan spell at Palace in 2008/09.
Eagles manager Neil Warnock has therefore decided to secure another reunion with Davis, who he signed while in charge of Sheffield United in 2006.
Warnock said: "I had him at Sheffield United and made him a millionaire there so he owes me one.
"He has had his contract cancelled up at Derby so he's free to come and sign now and he will be good."
